Have you ever started to do something and you get a strange feeling about it? Many people call this their gut instinct because their body can sense that there is something not right. When this takes place it is more than likely that it is a slight warning to proceed with caution or simply not to attempt whatever it may be at all.

Listening to our instincts upon feeling them can help us to become more in tune with our higher self. By not discrediting what we feel, we open ourselves to what we know to be true. Our bodies gives us intuitive nudges to help us in every situation. We may  find ourselves sometimes passing these nudges off as being nothing, but in most cases they are in fact, cautionary mechanisms.

In reference to being in tune with our higher self, it helps to stay away from things like: negative influences, gossip, and or any type of vice. When we truly dedicate ourselves to listening to our instincts, we learn what we need to tune out. By us tuning out the unnecessary, we then can tune in to our higher self and understand on a much higher level what we need to move forward. Our plans can be shifted when we understand what we are here to accomplish in our lifetime within this particular dimension. The shifting of our plans can be uncomfortable, but if we follow our guided nudges we will land firm.

As we listen with a open heart we will hear what we are meant to hear and not what we want to hear. Silence plays an important role in getting the messages that we need. We can look at silence as a gift because it can be one of  the most beautiful things we experience in life. Learning to spend time in silence can be rewarding because if we can quiet the mind we can certainly obtain all. It all starts with ourselves. No other person has to believe what we know to be our truth that our Creator placed before us. In fact, sometimes it's best to keep some things left unsaid and in due time they will be revealed when the time is right.

Our experiences are not meant to be understood by everyone that crosses our path. We do not owe an explanation to anyone that question our take on our path, simply because it is our path. What we may look like to others should not be our concern when we are certain that we are abiding by the laws of the land.
