As we tend to evolve we began to become more consciously aware of things that we once may have looked at as just something that grew; we now understand that these things have powerful properties that can be of good use. Herbs are a gift of the earth that were placed here for our consumption. Herbs can be made into teas, used in everyday food dishes, placed in oils to soak up their many benefits and so on.
The Rosemary Herb is an herb of many gainful advantages. Rosemary is also known as "dew of the sea"; for it holds potent historical elements. When rosemary (rosemary officinalis) or (salvia rosmarinus) is used in products for the hair it has been known to improve growth; in teas, it has shown for improvement of memory and as a kitchen herb the uses are numerous.
Rosemary is said to have been in the Mediterranean for many years and being native of that area. It is now highly available just about everywhere that herbal plants are sold.
Rosemary can withstand many conditions such as: poor soil, high sunny areas, rocky soil, and so on. It prefers well drained sandy soil. Rosemary can be grown in pots that have drainage. If growing inside, place plant in a sunny area. This herb needs plenty of air circulation allowing the outside morning dew to not settle too long on the plant. When cutting rosemary it is best not cut directly from the main rooted stem itself. Rosemary is a very resilient adaptive perennial plant that will live for years and years.
