Something A Bit Different

Many of you who read my blog posts know that I generally write about the products that Jeryl's Journey has to offer. I actually enjoy writing very much. In this post, I've decided to write about believing in yourself and the things you know to be true.

As we live we learn and as we learn we know what our truth is and how we know it to be true. Learning a truth typically means experiencing something and finding truth in that experience. Other things we sometimes know are true because it is just that, true. Touching back on "truth in an experience" - Not all experiences will have the exact same outcome because they are simply not under the exact same circumstances.

There are many truths that are learned within us all, but we may sometimes ignore those truths to make others happy. When we tend to do this we will at some point realize that our truth has been swept under the rug by our own selves. Once we get to this realization, we are usually turned around and lead back to what we know to be true. In other words, we soon realize that we lost ourselves and our truths while being in others truths that are theirs and not ours. This can be very irrational to many, simply due to the fact of knowing that one has lost themselves in a truth that is not their own.

Linking back into our own beliefs and what we know to be true is one of the most important things that we can do. Our beliefs can not only hold us to a certain standard, but it can also hold us back from being who we really are or who we really should have become. It is never too late to be true to who you really are! Believing in yourself and the things that you know to be true will always be in your favor. Holding yourself accountable for what you believe is one of the first steps to becoming your own truth, because if we can't be true to ourselves... then we most certainly can't be fully true to others.

In most cases, we can't help the way our heart feels our own beliefs and truths. It isn't until we find that we are in unknown territory that we will start to become aware of the fact that we left our known truths behind while being in another's truth; which will never feel natural. This is why it is very important that we always remember to stay true to ourselves and our beliefs in order to honor our continuous natural path that we are assigned when we enter this life.

"If it doesn't feel natural, then it is not your truth." ~jeryl
