Moisturization of the skin is needed, though some individuals do not see it as a necessity. As with anything that is being used for the body, products must be used with care and when the body needs it. Everyone does not have the same skin type. Understanding exactly what each individual skin type needs and what compliments their skin is of great importance.
Different skin types can range from normal, sensitive, dry, oily and so on. Being that there are so many skin types it is important to know that each skin type requires something different. For example, a suitable skin cream or butter for dry skin may include an oil which soaks into the skin on contact. (such as jojoba) Jojoba oil absorbs rather quickly, but if it's shine that is desired; this oil is not it. Therefore, the jojoba would need to have another oil that targets the same thing, but also adds shine. A great butter that adds a shine/glow is mango. Mango butter is also great for dry skin and this butter absorbs into skin easily as well.
It's always a good rule of thumb to learn your skin. (if you already hadn't done so) Through years of study and testing, it has been found that individuals with very sensitive skin will usually know exactly what they can and can't use on their skin. There are surely other individuals that have other skin types besides sensitive that know their skins needs as well.
Knowing and caring for the skin is important simply because well cared for skin feels good, looks good, and overall remains healthy as the skin ages. The skin oils and butters that are used to create the ultimate skin care experience in our skin care lines are all natural and sustainably sourced.
