~Gratitude and Being Grateful~

In this months blog post I am touching on the subject of gratitude and being grateful. I am grateful for everything that has been presented to me, no matter the formality of how it was presented. Being in a grateful mindset will always lead you where you need to be. I noticed long ago that gratitude would bring things into my life to show me what, when, how and who I needed to focus. I found that by placing the focus on myself and holding myself accountable is one of my best strategies. Sometimes it is easier said than done, but I know that if I do not hold myself accountable then I am not doing myself any justice. Therefore, in order to place situations within the realm of where it needs to exist and not necessarily where it may want to exist can be challenging, but it works out for the better.

Gratitude to me, is a state of mind that helps with grounding and centering all things. This can be looked at also as a somewhat domino effect. Gratitude can be shown, felt, and given on so many different levels. Expression of gratitude is probably one of the most used ways to show gratefulness. Then there is silent gratitude that usually can be shown with a change of behavior; this gratitude is more felt and visibly seen with action. Gifting gratitude can also be one of the most popular forms of showing gratefulness. I remind myself that gratitude and being grateful is not so much of what is tangible, but that what is intangible is a higher level of gratuity within myself.

Each day is a new day to be grateful and show gratitude in some way. It may be in a tangible way or non tangible way. No matter the way, I know to just always BE. Once this was learned, I started to not look at situations in the same way as I did  before. I learned to look into situations for what they truly are... and for that I AM ALWAYS GRATEFUL.
